From: Manuel M Sr. Solla
                                                    Dr. Signori

I have completed the three month probatory period and I have
accepted it as a great experience. I have learned a great many
things that will be useful to me in my future endeavors. I have,
however, carefully studied the opportunities involved in working
with Squibb and their relation to my goals. I want to grow and
mature in many different ways, but I can not see myself doing so
in my present position.

I am presenting my formal letter of resignation with two
weeks prior notice (effective August 26,1988). I hope this is
satisfactory so that all the necessary arrangements can be made.

My enthusiasm and hard©work, while working at Squibb, stems
from the excellent training you have provided all of us. I plan
to return to my studies so that I may obtain that which I have
always dreamt of.

I hope this letter is accepted and that no hard feelings
lie between E.R.Squibb & Sons and me. I believe that the company
has a strong standing within the health-care profession.

								Sincerely,

								Manuel M
