                   Job Description and responsibilities: 
                A) Microdissection and isolation of individual renal
                   tubules in female rabbits .                           
                B) Microdissection and Isolation of retinal blood 
                   vessels for studies on the effects of hypertension,
                   diabetes, acidosis, alkalosis to the eyes .
                C) Micropipette manufacture, for use in the infusion
                   and collection of fluids, drugs on each individual
                   kidney tubules .

                D) Analysis of nanoliter volume samples (timed 
                   collections)
                E) Aseptic surgical techniques involving ureteral ob-
                   struction of live rabbits in the operating room,
                   keeping them alive and healthy for 2-4 days prior
                   to further renal tubule studies .           
                F) Aseptic surgical techniques and administration of  
                   of critical dose of anesthetics to live rodents and
                   performance of ureteral venisection and ligation for
                   measurement of urine output, blood gases, Na-K con-
                   centration, keeping them alive during the entire
                   procedure .
                G) Induction of respiratory alkalosis and acidosis in 
                   rodents, through the use of proper gas 
                   concentrations in the gas chambers .
                H) Induction of metabolic acidosis and alkalosis 
                   through the use of specific diets in the rabbit .
                I) Inulin clearance studies .  
                J) Tissue culture of renal cells .
                K) Preparation and manufacture of collagen membrane
                   for tissue cultures . 
                L) Voltage conduction studies of renal cells .
                M) Performance of radioactive surveys .
                N) Use of spectrophotometric instruments, gamma and beta 
                   counters, blood gas machines, flamephotometer,   
                   picaphnotherm machine . 
                O) Preparation of the required reagents and chemicals 
                   for a particular study .
