my senior year of high school was a bit unusual . My entire family
        moved from San Juan PR to Newton MA .
        Since I had enough credits I was able to graduate half way through my 
        senior year of high school. In the mean time I decided to work full 
        time during the day and take undergraduate level courses at Boston 
        College Evening School. That summer I earned enough money to buy an 
        air ticket to Florida where I stayed with some friends and thought of 
        the possibilities of studying in Florida. I was not partial to 
        Boston's cold weather. I went back to Puerto Rico with the decision to 
        study  at Eckerd college in St. Petersburg, Fl. Upon my arrival to PR, 
        I celebrated graduation with my former classmates. My parent notified 
        me from Boston that I had been accepted to Boston College and that 
        they strongly recommended that I reconcider.  Spent the rest of that 
        summer in liesure.                                                                               
         I started fall semester courses at Boston College in September 1980. 
        Worked part time at Barry's Village Deli . I eventually had to quit on
        account that I was loosing time from my studies . For Christmas 
        vacations I went back to Puerto Rico . I acquired a job at carvel ice 
        cream . Returned to Boston for my Spring semester. Course schedule got 
        tough.                                  
         I was a member of the premedical society brief time but i did 
         contribute my services on several ocasions . 
         I succesfully terminated my freshman year
        and went home to Puerto Rico for summer vacations. There 
        I procrastinated until money got scarce hence I searched for 
        oddjobs . I mostly played chaufer for friends and relatives. My family 

        from there I went back to start my sophomore year of college. 
         That year was basically the same as the rest. Most of my time was 
        spent going to lectures or laboratory sections. On occasion on 
        weekends I would go visit my brother at Amherst College.
        To celebrate Thanksgiving my entire family met in New York. While 
        there we went to F.D.R's estate as well as F.W. Vanderbilt's mansion
        in Hyde Park NY. I was fortunate to see several plays on Broadway.
        It was times like these that would break the monotony of college life.
        I returned to boston and finished my fall semester upon witch I re-
        turned to Puerto Rico for Christmas. I obtain my former job with 
        Carvel and spent time with my family and friends.
         Once vacation was over I returned to Boston's blizzard conditions.
        As one can imagine, this was very depressing. But, I 
        endure. I learned for the first time how it was to live with seven
        roommates. This got very awkward on occasions but it proved to be
        a great expirience.
         during that summer i took courses at the Inter american university 
        in puerto rico . This was to insure that i would have enough credits
        to graduate on time . this course made the summer seem to pass by so
        quickly . Before I knew it on was on my way to my third year of 
        college . this year was an extremely difficult year for me because
        i attempted to bite off more than i could chew . I decided on a whim
        to change my major from biology to chemistry . I struggled through 
         these courses and I can safely say that this period was a slump in my
        college education. At the same time
        I was preparing for the medical college admissions test witch required
        quite a bit of time in itself . but I got through this ordeal .
