This is my experiment in comparing search engines. From this page you can search the full text for thousands of court cases. These public domain documents were made available in February, 2008, by public.resource.org. At present this collection is searchable using Swish-e, albeit in a fairly rudimentary way. My project aims to use this large collection of text as a basis for comparing Swish-e and other search softwares. I want to get the maximum amount of functionality out of these products. As it turns out, I also simply enjoy reading these documents. I have wanted to do a project like this for some time, but available collections of content were scarce and/or did not interest me as much as these documents.You can also browse the collection (not too useful, but you never know what you'll find).
