sorabji.com : Pictures Abandoned Baby Carriages

Do discarded baby strollers and carriages symbolize anything not symbolized by other types of garbage? An abandoned baby carriage does not, after all, represent an abandoned baby. These discarded objects could be said to symbolize the passing of infancy and the march to adulthood, or the cavalier disposal of the sometimes absurdly expensive things of a child. Much of this type of equipment comes with expiration dates, meaning it should be discarded at some point to reduce the risk of safety hazards. This photo essay contains pictures of baby carriages, strollers, toys and other infant items which have been discarded, destroyed, or for which their use has been re-appropriated.
