Without any narrative connecting these pictures to the others it is intriguing to guess into the significance of this 1979 trip to visit an Asian family in Ogden, Utah. The tall man in the yellow shirt appears throughout this series of family slides but none of the people in these Utah pictures appeared anywhere else. There are, however, a few pictures of this man in the company of what appears to be an Asian woman, as well as pictures of that same woman with a teenage girl. The Asian woman on the boat in those pictures never appears in any of the other family photos.

In this series I used various "auto" functions of the GIMP photo editing software to lighten up some of these images which were too dark to see. Both the "before" and "after" images are included.
