I don't think I was allowed to do this, but I opened the door to the fire escape and got this picture of the back yards between West 75th and 74th Streets. The building on the right is still the Parc Lincoln. I almost got into trouble a few times for stuff like this (opening the door to the fire escape) but I never got caught. I also wasn't supposed to loiter in the stairwell or in the basement but I did, and a few comical chases occurred. I have no pictures of the basement at the Parc Lincoln but it was there that I found stacks and stacks of corporate annual reports to shareholders. Somebody in the building was evidently an investor and he discarded large numbers of these annual reports. I collected these reports and saved them for many years, eventually using the headshots of corporate bigs as material for my Face Server. That little project now includes faces from all manner of other sources but it was the faces from those corporate annual reports I found in the basement of the Parc Lincoln that first populated the Face Server.
