I am also Mariela. I live in the United States, but my mom got the name from a novela she used to watch when she lived in Venezuela. I never liked my name when I was little because no one could say it right. Everyone would say it all gringo like, "Mary Ella." Now that I'm all grown up, I love my name. Thanks Mom for giving me such a beautiful name!
