* AT  8:30 PM WEDNESDAY THE STAGE WAS 17.3 FEET.
* FLOOD STAGE IS 16.0 FEET.
* FORECAST...THE RIVER WILL CONTINUE SLOWLY RISE TO NEAR 17.7 FEET BY
  AROUND MIDNIGHT TONIGHT. THE RIVER WILL FALL BELOW FLOOD STAGE
  BY NOON ON THURSDAY.
* AT 18.0 FEET...SECONDARY ROADS ALONG THE RIVER AND FARMLAND WILL BE
  FLOODED.  RIVER ROAD WILL BE UNDER WATER..
